Dr. Mark C. McLeod Ph.D. J.D. is the Canadian Client Relations Attorney at Trademarkia. Mark obtained the Trademark Agent qualification from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office in 2012. Mark specializes in Canadian trademark clearance searches, applications, prosecution, oppositions, litigation and enforcement with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Federal Court of Canada. Mark also specializes in portfolio management for the protection of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Mark obtained his Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School, The University of Melbourne, Australia. Mark previously completed a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science, The University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as undertook a post-doctoral fellowship at the Brain Repair Centre, Halifax, Canada. His previous scientific experience investigated the use of stem cells for neural transplantation strategies in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and stroke.
